I just spent another night being sick. I was very hungry when I got home from work, so got a snack and a bottle of water. Guess it was too much for my abbreviated stomach. Before I could make dinner, I started throwing up and spent the next 3 hours being sick. No dinner for me or Joe. : (
28 days to the surgery.
This is not right! Why do they have to wait so long for this surgery? If you cannot even drink water, in twenty eight days, they will have to resuscitate you for surgery.
ReplyDeleteThey are waiting so long because I have so many tests and doctors to see before that time. I see my oncologist on Thursday and he will take extra blood for a BUN and creatinine test. I see my cardiologist to make sure my heart is strong enough for the surgery. I have an MRI to see if the spots on my liver are cysts or cancer (or pre-cancer) spots. Then I have my pre-op tests on the 19th. So much to do! I am able to eat and drink today, so I try to make up for things on my good days.
ReplyDeletePoor Kathy. Hope you are feeling better soon.
