BLOGMAS DAY 2 -- MONDAY MAGAZINE

Hello, friends!  Welcome to day two of Blogmas.  I slept so late today and even though I got some things done, not nearly enough.  I have to move tomorrow.  So glad I'm not teaching Bible study this month.  There's just not enough time to do everything that needs to be done.

Joe, Rick and I went to the nursing home today for Bible study.  We sang "O Come, All Ye Faithful" and the ladies were all singing along loudly and smiling.  Christmas will do that to you.

MONDAY MAGAZINE
So today's magazine is HGTV from November 2017.

Lots of good articles in this one.  But let's look at the front door page.

It's another red front door, but a darker red than that shown on October 21.  Red seems to be a popular color.

Do you like the light they show?  I kind of do.  I am really in love with the welcome mat.  I wish I could find one like that.  So, folks, what do you think of this entry?

TODAY'S MUG
Tonight for dinner I used one of my Hallmark movie mugs -- even though I wasn't watching a movie at the time.

My sister gave me this for Christmas last year.  One of two, in fact.  You will see the other one later.

WHAT'S FOR DINNER
I forgot to show you my dinner last night, so I'll include it here.

Pork roast, broccoli and an herbed roll.

Tonight we finished up the pork and I had mashed potatoes and corn.  You can see I pulled out my Christmas plates too.

And so that's all I did today.  Tomorrow I have to get to my cleaning and baking.  I promised Kathy I would run her to the store tomorrow afternoon.  That is if there is no snow.  So far we got a dusting which melted right away.  My sister, on the other hand, got 5 inches of snow and the roads are icy.

Hope you have a good evening and come back tomorrow.

Kathy

  1. I hope that you have another good night’s rest. I slept pretty well last night until the snowplow went by at 3:30 a.m. I love mashed potatoes and never make them. Yours look so good. Love that there was singing with gusto today. 🎶

  2. Hi Kathy. Your dinners look so yummy. Always nice to sleep in a bit on a cold winter morning. So nice you could go have Bible Study with the people in the nursing home. I know they appreciate it. You have a good day and I will see you again soon!

  3. Love the mug...so you! Not a fan of red doors. Sinners look yummy. I'm glad we didn't get all they predicted weather-wise. Stay warm!
