I'm always so tired on Mondays. I thought it was just work, but it still goes on. Fortunately I can sleep! Oh the joys of being retired.
I watched quite a bit of TV. I'm trying to catch up on all the things I recorded. I'm almost there.
Right now I'm watching last night's Downton Abbey. I LOVE that show and I'm sad that this is the last season. It would be great to see them go into the 1930s and 1940s.
The one thing I did clean up today was the bookcase in the kitchen where I keep my cookbooks. Here's the before picture:

Not perfect, but better. Baby steps but steps nonetheless. I'm hoping to get a lot more done tomorrow but it all depends on how I feel. I am determined to get the house under control. Then I can keep it that way without so much work.
Today is Miss A's second birthday. When did that happen? How did the years go so fast? Even though I don't get to see her anymore, I keep up through facebook. Isn't she a cutie?
It is very cold here -- in the 20s. and seems to dropping even lower tonight. Even with the fire going it is chilly in here. Tomorrow we are supposed to have snow showers. It would be the first snow this winter. The weather forecasters say that winter is finally here. Brrr! NOW I'm glad I don't have to go out in the morning to go to work. Or come home at 8:30 at night.
I'm going to go back to sleep now. It's another busy week for me.

Good morning, Kathy. I've been trying to get a little more organized, too and I like that cute little chalkboard. I seem to be collecting them these days. Miss A is such a little cutie and those big pretty eyes.

Hi, Dee! I got the chalkboard at Target right after Christmas for half price -- $1.50. I've been wanting one and it was cute and the right price. I think it is going to come in so handy.
