Dental work

What a day I have had.  I woke up at 5 a.m. and couldn't go back to sleep.  Around 7 a.m. I said to myself, "Well, time to get up and go to work."  Of course then I fell back to sleep and overslept a half-hour.  Why do I do these things?  I had to race around getting myself ready and driving to work.  I was a little late, but didn't have to take any time off.

At lunch time I had to go to the dentist.  The hygienist took an x-ray that showed nothing wrong with my tooth.  She examined it and said she didn't see anything.  Then the dentist came in.  She examined me and didn't see anything either.  They are baffled as to why I am so sensitive to heat and cold.  The dentist said perhaps my tooth was cracked or the filling was leaking, but there was no sign of either of those things.  So she is sending me to a specialist.  I didn't have time to make an appointment today, so I will call tomorrow.

Joe and I went out looking at Christmas lights tonight.  They are so gorgeous around here.  I tried to take some pictures, but not one came out.  I don't know what I am doing wrong.  I am going to try some different settings and try again.  Hopefully I will get some.

It's very late so I am going to bed.  Lots to do in the morning before I go to work.

  1. I empathize with your dental pain. The fact that no cause was found... I think its better to know something. I use Oragel to help deal with the pain till it can be dealt with by a dentist.

Russ & I will be ready at 6 on Saturday, but will totally understand if you want to cancel due to the pain. Its no fun when you're hurting.

It's a shame none of the pix came out. You do live in a beautifully lit neighborhood!

I hope Joe is feeling better. He is in my prayers. Give him a big get well from us!
