I'm not ignoring you, folks. I'm just in a blog slump. Ever have one of those? Life is just going along and I have nothing to say.
I've been going over and over in my mind what to write about. Well, this morning I got up and got a cup of tea. I did some housework. I went to the store. I took a nap. I made dinner. I watched TV. I went to bed. How BORING to read about.
The most exciting thing going on in my life is yesterday morning I made peanut butter cookies. And ate a lot of them. On the other hand, my pain level was so low that I was ABLE to make peanut butter cookies so that was a good thing!
I think I've been getting better pain wise because I haven't been doing anything. Sitting around a lot. Laying with my feet elevated so that the swelling goes down and my back is in a good position for the disks to slip back into place. I'm still feeling pretty good today so after Bible Study Joe and I are going to do a quick run through Shop Rite and get some things we need. Milk and cat food are priorities.
And that's about it. I hope to get some wash done and on the line and some cleaning in the living room done but I'm not going to push it.
The weather has been lovely here. Yesterday was 77* with just a brief thunderstorm in the afternoon. Today is going to be 81* and partly sunny. I am so glad the warm weather is here! I think I will sit out in the sun this afternoon.
The only picture I have for you is the sunrise this morning through the front door screen. I'm really falling down on the job.
Hope you all have a wonderful day!
Kathy
your days sound very much like mine lol,,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I'm not alone.
DeleteI'm going to work today. And our temps are to be high 60s. Cloudy. One more day to bless someone else and do what God has for us to do. Last nite I printed out some photos for Megan's display board for her graduation party. That's been on our minds for a months. Have a good day.
ReplyDeleteYou are looking at it with such a good attitude, Becky. And I actually posted something similar on fscebook this morning.
DeleteRoutine can be a blessing!!
ReplyDeleteOh it is. But it doesn't give me much to blog about.
DeleteSometimes boring is good my friend. Glad your pain is decreasing. I thought of you today when we visited that amazing new library. The treehouse in the middle of it for the kids to play on was just amazing. I know you would have loved it!
ReplyDeleteWhen I read your blog I thought, "Wow! I would love to visit that library!" Great minds think alike.
DeleteGlad to hear you have some good days pain-wise. The sunrise photo through the screen is kind of unique. I would like to be sitting on the porch listening to the water! ha ha ! woof
ReplyDeleteI spoke too soon. After going food shopping yesterday I am hurting big time. Oh well. I'll get back to normal in a few days.
DeleteSometimes our life seems mundane, same ole, same ole, but we are truly blessed for each and every day.
ReplyDeleteHope your pain gets better, I seem to know all about pain filled days this past four months :)
Hugs,
~Jo
I can understand. I don't know how some women can blog daily, with photo overload and cook and bake daily, I would collapse. Really! And then those that redecorate every couole of months! No way.
