Joe is improving each day. Today I looked at all his bruises and told him he had polka dots. There are little one inch yellow bruises all over his shoulders, chest, stomach, sides and arms. It looks as if I had taken a paint brush and yellow paint to him. But in spite of his bruises he is walking better and doing better. I thank God for intelligent doctors who immediately knew what was wrong with him.
One more day and I am on vacation. I am really looking forward to it. Although being off for four days last weekend I feel as if I've already had a mini vacation.
Still no luck on the air conditioning in the car. I told them enough was enough and to stop trying to fix it. But Walt is insistent that after vacation he WILL get it fixed.
The air conditioning at work, however, is FREEZING. I wear a sweater all day and my arthritis still hurts.
I am very, very tired and am falling asleep so I will just give you the photo challenge picture. The prompt is "an ordinary moment." Today is my step-son, D.J.'s, birthday. So my ordinary moment picture is D.J. and his dad, Joe, having a father/son conversation.
I need to go. Have a good night and see you tomorrow.
Kathy
Wonderful father /son moment! Sorry about the cold at work. There seems to be no middle ground. Ha ha! Hope work goes well on your last pre-vacation day!
ReplyDeleteWishing you sunshine, blue skies & good times with your sister!
Thank you, Deb. It's not all going to be blue skies, but we'll do our best.
DeleteGood picture of Joe and his son. I was hoping the AC in the car could be fixed before vacation. Are you going somewhere or having a 'staycation'? Have a good Friday.
ReplyDeleteI am doing some of each, Linda. Part time away and part time home.
DeleteI hope you have a wonderful and relaxing vacation. I just came back from vacation, too and I had a really good time in North Carolina. That's also a really good father son pic. You're doing great with your photo challenge... :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Dee. Glad you had a good vacation too! I'm trying with this photo challenge. It's not as hard as the one I did in November when I was so sick I went to the Emergency Room.
DeleteONE MORE DAY!
ReplyDeleteVacation time is so much fun!
We'll see how much fun it is this year. Lots of stuff going on.
DeleteKathy, Wishing DJ a happy birthday. He and Joe seem to be enjoying themselves. So glad that Joe is improving. That will be less for you to worry about. Blessings for a great weekend, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteThank you, Susie. Joe is improving, but still not there. Keep praying.
DeleteA very special ordinary moment! Have a wonderful vacation if I don't get back until next week!
