THE NEW PHONE

My poor little cell phone.  I loved my cell phone.  It was just a simple little flip phone.  No bells and whistles (not even a camera), just a phone that was always there when I needed it.  But I did it in.  Have no one to blame but myself.  Thinking it over today, I think I was so tired on Friday that I didn't even realize it had fallen out of my pocket.  How could I not know that?

Even though it still worked, I knew it had to go and I had to get a new one.  The screen was completely destroyed.



When Marquita came in to work today I was telling her the story.  She said that Target was having a sale on phones.  I looked in the sale paper and saw the phone I wanted was on sale for $20.  I can afford that.  So I went after work and got myself a new phone.


Again, it is a simple phone.  It's not a smart phone, but it does have a lot of features that I like.  I'm very happy with it.  I had the other one for a long time, so I guess it's time for a change.  And the price was right too.

    $20 bucks is a great deal. I have a smart phone and hate it. It's smarter than me. Totally wish I had gotten a no bells and whistles kinds of phone :)

    That is a super price! Glad you could find one so fast. I agree that for some of us,bells & whistles are overated..

    I have a plain phone too! Just text and calls but it does have a camera. I just don't know how to get pics off of it. I am thinking about trying to find one on ebay. LD and I are both using our even OLDER back ups!
