A LAZY DAY
Did you remember to fly your flag? I almost forgot but Joe remembered. It got up late, but it got up.
I think the heat has finally gotten to me. It was such a lazy day. What do you do on a lazy day? Here's what I did.
I slept.
I watched TV.
I did jigsaw puzzles on the computer.
The only productive thing I did today was go to Bible study tonight. I guess everyone deserves a lazy day now and then. I just hope I'm more productive tomorrow.

I totally agree that everyone is entitled to a lazy day.Sometimes it helps me to refocus on what I want to accomplish the next day.Love the ending. You should enjoy what the Lord has blessed you with! Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteLazy days are the best!!
ReplyDeleteYou must have needed the quiet day...I may have one of them tomorrow when the rain comes back.
ReplyDeleteI wore my flag bracelet to work yesterday as I didn't think i'd be warm enough in my flag shirt. I was quite tired by end of my early shift yesterday so I wound up laying down on my bed for awhile and I felt much better, even so after dinner! Yep, sleeping is a good thing if ya need it. Take care!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing like flying your flag and relaxing on a hot flag-waving day! We are free to do so! Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteI'm living the life! Reading, doing needlework, playing games - some with YOU - and doing housekeeping chores which are not much in a 31 foot camper - and playing 'gopher' for Louis Dean. I also watch a bit of Downton Abbey every day. I could get used to this!
