CLOSING OUT FEBRUARY
February is just about over. I have noticed a difference this year from the past several years. They all just seemed to fly by and this year is moving along just right. I tend to live each day to its fullest and this has made a big difference to me. Each day is chock full of stuff to do but I'm not fretting if I don't cross everything off of my list.
My temperature afghan is coming along. Here is the month of February. It still has a lot of blue in it, but now there is more green and even some yellow. The yellow is our 70 degree weather. The light green is the 60s and the dark green 50s. The light blue is the 40s. Just a few days of dark blue 30s. It's so interesting to watch this afghan come to life.
Here is the entire thing so far (January and February). The white stripe separates the months. I can see this will be harder to do as it gets bigger. I'll have to stand on a ladder or something to fit it all into one frame.
A look at our Breathtaking Views calendar for February.

Goodbye February. Hello March. I'm looking forward to seeing what you have in store for me.

The afghan is really coming along! Love the colors blending like they do...I'm praying for your procedure. I agree;you can use the rest!
ReplyDeleteGood to read you blog and catch up. All the best for your hospital visit. Thanks for the tip about Tales of the Green Valley, I shall watch that, the presenters in it are really good.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great afghan! Thanks for the update on it.
ReplyDeleteYup, it's March... My February didn't look like the one Kauai had.
It is going to be fun seeing the afghan come together through the year. What colors are for 80s 90s 100s? Yikes! Glad that time is moving along just right...
ReplyDeleteHI Kathy...
ReplyDeleteYour afghan is looking great! I have started a new one.
Happy March to you...
Cheers!

I like your afghan. Nice idea. I finished my dishcloth tonight. I need to fix my last stitch and weave in the yarn ends tomorrow evening. Glad it's done. I'm looking forward to the tulip festival again this year although it may be a few weeks later because the ground has been so cold.
