EVERYONE LIKES A CUTE KID -- AND MINE ARE CUTE!

Hello, friends!  Well we made it through another week.  It has been another beautiful day.  Here it is the end of September and I am wearing shorts and have the doors open to let in the fresh air.  So warm and nice.  Unlike summer, it is not humid so even though it is warm, it is pleasant.  That humidity really makes a difference.

I have not been feeling all that well today so have been laying around a lot.  I was looking at things on my tablet, put it down to take a nap, and have no idea where it is.  I have torn apart the living room, looked in the kitchen, even went to the bathroom, hallway and bedroom.  No luck.  Now, this thing is big enough to see.  But I can't find it.  It MUST be in the house.  I certainly didn't take it outside.  How do things in my house just disappear?  I am always losing things.  I must have a really bad memory that I don't remember what I do with things.

I watched another Hallmark movie today:  Love, Fall & Order.  It was filmed in Provo, Utah and the scenery was absolutely beautiful!  I would love to visit there someday.  In the movie they had a Fall Festival and it made me feel so nice and cozy.  I have to get working on things so I can decorate!

I wanted to show you something special today but didn't know what to do.  So I got permission to show you the cutest kids in the world -- my great-grandkids.  They live in Tennessee so we don't get to see them, but we send things back and forth.

Can you believe little Hadley is 3 years old already?  And she is quite the character.

And Bipp is 10 months.  Don't you love his hair in the first picture?

I'm already trying to decide what to get them for Christmas.  It will be here before we know it.

And now I am going to go and get some things done before it's bedtime.  Hope you all have a great weekend.

HADLEY IS GETTING BIG

Hello, friends!  Hope you are having a wonderful day.  I just got a couple of new pictures of Hadley that I wanted to share with you.  I was surprised at how big she had gotten.

I love this picture of her.  Her eyes are so blue and she is just having such a good time on that swing.  She is 20 months old now and no longer a baby.

Hadley also had some news to share with us.

She's going to be a big sister!  Tori is due around Thanksgiving.  Hadley is going to be the best big sister ever.

This put a smile on my face for sure.  Hope your day makes you smile too.

BLOGMAS DAY 19 -- HADLEY MEETS SANTA

Hello, friends!  I changed my mind of what I was going to show you today when I saw the pictures of my little great-granddaughter Hadley.  This is her second Christmas and this year she is a little more unsure of whether she likes Santa or not.

She did want the little gift he was giving out, though.  Ha, ha!

Then she was ready to take off.  What a kid!

It's late and I've got to run.  Have a good night and a great day tomorrow.

NEW PICTURES OF HADLEY

I was so busy yesterday and today all I did was sleep.  I wanted to be productive, but it just didn't work.  It seems I have one good day and then the next day I am out of it.  So praying for a good day tomorrow.  There is just so much to do around here.

I haven't shown pictures of Hadley in awhile because I haven't gotten any.  But her mom sent me some this week so I thought I would share them with you.  She's not a baby anymore.  Kids grow up so fast.

All bundled up for the cold weather.

 What a big girl!

One goldfish for me...

And one for the dog!

She is sure growing up fast!

Have a good evening!  I'll see you tomorrow.

THE RAG DOLL

Hope you are all having a wonderful day.  It is another hot day here in Philly.

Last night I got a surprise facebook post from my granddaughter.  Remember the Amish rag doll I got for Hadley when I was in Lancaster?  I sent it to her for her first birthday.

I saw on the tag that her name was "Becky."  A typical Amish name for a sweet little doll.

I mailed it to Tennessee along with a Happy First Birthday card that I wrote a note in.  The side not in this picture says,  "Love, Memaw and Papa Joe."

Hadley LOVED the doll.

Tori says she keeps picking up the doll to kiss and hug it.  They decided to keep the name Becky.

I'm so glad she likes Becky.  Now I've got to top that for Christmas!

HADLEY'S BIRTHDAY PARTY

What is more fun than a kid's first birthday party?  They've never done this before.  Even though I couldn't get there, I was sent pictures of the party.  I thought I would share some of them with you.

The theme for the party was a luau.  You can see the lei my granddaughter is wearing.  And there are lots of rubber duckies.

Including this huge one that was in the pool.

She's such a water baby.

Here she is with my grandson, her Uncle Colby.

Time to eat!

Blowouts!  Riding her new car!  And best of all opening gifts and cards!

Time for cake.  Isn't this adorable?

Why is this candle lit?

You want me to do what?  Blow it out?

Let's just dig into this.

Want some Mom?

My turn.

It was a beautiful day, but you all know how it ends.

Thanks for visiting and joining me at Hadley's party.
