Did you celebrate?  Are you green?  Does the world sound as if it's talking with a brogue?

Five of the eight people at work today dressed in green.  It's a lovely day -- sunny and warm.  Just like spring.  Or even a bit of summer.

At Bible Study this morning I served shamrock cookies on shamrock decorated plates.  Trying to get into the spirit.

I usually make Irish Stew for St. Patrick's Day but I am working until 8 p.m. tonight.  So I am making an exception and we are calling out for dinner tonight.  I'll do the stew tomorrow.

It's a long day on Tuesdays and I am tired, so I'm going to end for today.  Hope you all had the "Luck of the Irish" and found your pot of gold.  (Boy I sure could use that!)

  1. You certainly got into the spirit of things! Must confess, I wasn't wearing green. I was home getting a bit of cleaning done that I'd been putting off.The cookies sound delicious.
Hope you have a golden day!

  2. I didnt wear green or celebrate in any way....for me, just another day. You did a good job serving those cookies and I am sure the others at work, enjoyed them too. Hope you have nice afternoon.

  3. Hi Kathy, I wore a bit of green. Not like if I were working. I just have never been a big celebrator of St. Pat's day. Hope you are getting better weather your way. Also that Joe is doing better. Can you even believe it's spring time. Seemed it took forever. Blessings to you and your Joe. xoxo,Susie
