THE GLORY OF MORNING GLORIES

Do you like morning glories?  They are such a pretty flower but so invasive.  They have taken over my yard, covering all the fences, the lawn furniture, and the bird feeder.

But they are pretty.  And when I saw them growing on my neighbor's gate the other day, I just had to get a picture of them.

If only they would stay where they belong, I would like them a lot better.

  1. They are gorgeous. Up here, they are annuals so don’t get going well enough to be invasive. I miss my blue morning glories.

  2. Grandpa Ott Morning Glories are some of the most invasive, but beautiful to say the least.
I love seeing them in bloom, and yes, if only they would stay where they are planted :)
    Your neighbor's are just lovely.

  3. I agree! The flowers are pretty but they refuse to stay put. They start to intertwine with my other flowers & I have to prune them back. Kind of a shame...

  4. So pretty! I would love them to take over the lattice work on an old deck we have that's hardly used anymore. I think they would give it character!
