BLOGMAS DAY 6 -- LANCASTER HAUL PART 2 AND OTHER CREATIVE THINGS

Hello and welcome to Blogmas Day 6.  I still have not gotten a chance to take pictures of all the things I purchased while in Lancaster, but I did get the Lenox items photographed.  I got two coffee mugs for my friends Carol and Donna and a tea mug for myself.

And I got these cute little dish towels.  They were orginally $25 but I got it for much less than that.

Look how cute the red and white polka dot one looks hanging by my sink.

I got busy today and made some sugar cookies.  I used all different colored sugar to decorate them.  I took them to Bible Study tonight.  They were so good!

My other creative effort was an Advent Scarf.  I found a pattern for a scarf that is made over the 24 days of December before Christmas.  I am so far behind on it.  I just finished Day 1.  I am using some yarn I had laying around.  I am trying to use up what I have before I buy more.  And there is so much!

This is the pattern for day one.

I think they look like little Christmas trees.

I have no picture of what it's going to look like, so it's fun to make and see what it eventually looks like.

And that is it for today!  I'll be seeing you all tomorrow. Until later....

Kathy

I am trying to catch up on reading blogs this weekend as we also try to get holiday decorations started. Thankfully, I completed and mailed our holiday cards this week.
