WELCOMING HADLEY JEANNE

My former step-granddaughter, Tori, had her first baby yesterday.  Even though she is not biologically related to me, the family has said that I am little Hadley's great-grandmother.  I always say the more people a child has to love them, the better off that child is.  So I am honored to be a great-grandparent.  Am I really that old?

Welcome little Hadley Jeanne.  Everyone is so happy you are finally here.

7 lbs. 7 oz., 20 inches long.

Happy birthday, Hadley!

  1. I don't think there are steps in granddaughters or great granddaughters! Congratulations all around!

    1. Thanks, Diana. In today's world there are lots of ways to stay in touch even if you don't live next-door.

    1. Family ties are so disjointed these days. I'm sure I'll be a part of little Hadley's life in a lot of ways.

  8. Oh, she is precious indeed! Since I am a step-mom/grandma to all of ours, I like to say that love lines are sometimes much stronger than blood lines!! Enjoy her!!

  9. I am also technically in that same category, Kahy, but it doesn't matter as you love them just the same. Congrats to all on the new arrival.
