CLOSING OUT MAY

The super busy months of April and May are behind me.  It is still a busy month in June but at least I have some days off -- breathing room.

In April I had a visit to the dentist and Joe continued for a week with his physical therapy.  Thankfully that is behind us now.  I hired a cleaning lady who is a wonderful help to me.  Joe went to see the orthopedist at Pennsylvania Hospital and was told his hand was healed and he didn't have to return.  Yay!  I had an MRI and have to return in 3 months for another one.  And, of course, this last week was the cookout at Elaine's house and the wonderful parade.

My temperature afghan continues to grow.  Can you see the heat wave we had this month?  It's a wide stripe of red.  That was 90*+.  There are also a lot of pink 80* days.  But not a spot of that cold blue weather.

And here is as much of it as I could get in one picture.  After this month it will be half done!

And here is a look at my Breathtaking Views calendar for May.

Friendship Fountain in Jacksonville, Florida.

And finally my 8:00 p.m. May photos.  I was really lax in doing it this month because I was so busy.  And I didn't get it done today either.  Hopefully I'll get some for you this month.

I know I am behind a bit but hopefully will catch up by the end of the week.  In the meantime, take care and I will see you soon.

    1. And you get to see the afghan in person since you live nearby. I take the sunset shots when I remember to. But a lot of the time I'm not home.

    1. Our weather is very changeable here in Philly. Sometimes day by day. So it is a lot more colorful than I first anticipated. When it's done I want to spread it out on the bed and take a shot of the entire thing.
