SNOW DAY

We were expecting a big snow storm on Tuesday.  Four to eight inches were predicted.  And it sure looked like that would be the case when I got up at 7 a.m.  My car and the sidewalk were already covered.

And the snow was coming down fast and furious.

At 8 a.m. I went to the kitchen to get something to eat.  It was so beautiful in the back yard.  It looked like a fairy land.

And the snow was starting to let up.

By 9 a.m. it was starting to let up.  One of our neighbors cleaned our sidewalk for us.  I don't know which one.  I heard someone outside but by the time I got to the door, no one was on the street.

And by 10 a.m. it was all over and the sun was out.  Our predicted 8 inches turned out to be only 3 inches.  And it warmed up so most of it is gone.

It was bitterly cold today.  I put out the trash but the cans are still out front to bring back to the yard.  I'll do it in the morning.

If you pray, please pray for Joe.  He had two very bad falls yesterday and today.  One of them down the stairs.  I am taking him to the doctor tomorrow morning.  I've got a lot to do tomorrow so it's going to be a long day.

And on that note I am going to bed.  Until later...

We still have all our snow because it's been so cold....but that will change today. 50 today! This is the craziest Winter.

  4. I hope Joe is okay!!! That is scary that he took TWO falls!!
We have snow coming here later this weekend. I would guess we have about an 8-10" base on the ground that will most likely be here until Spring.
I'm glad you didn't get all the snow they were predicting! I am ready for winter to be over! xo Diana
ps- Let me know how Joe is after he goes to the clinic.
