MY CAR IS SICK

Yes, it is, Charlie Brown.  Only 24 days to go after today.  I still have so much to do.  I guess we all do.

I got so much cleaning done yesterday.  There is still a lot to do, but looking at my one clean little spot makes me happy.  I plan to tackle more today.

The sun is out today after two days of rain.  I know that will give me more energy.  The curtain is up and the weak morning light is coming in.  (I'm smiling.)  This whole wonderful day is before me.  I know I will get something done and I will bring you along as I do.

My poor little car, though.  It is still at the garage.  It needed a lot more work than I anticipated.  However, it is under the budget I set aside for its repair so that is good.  It will take my entire pension check this month, but that's OK.  I need a car and it's a lot cheaper than buying a new one.  The mechanic said I can pick it up around 4 p.m. today.  Maybe sooner.  I'm hoping sooner.  The guys at the garage are a great group of guys.

 Ron, Ken and Chalie

Last night when I went out to feed the stray cats I noticed how pretty the fall trees looked with the lights from the house next door on them.  I took a picture to show you.

Nice.

So on with my day.  But first I'm going to look at my Jacquie Lawson online Advent Calendar.  Hurray, it starts today!  Enjoy December!

    1. I'd be glad to help you clean. We can exchange messes and you can do my house! Ha, ha! It is a busy time of year. Hope we both can get everything done.

  2. Oh dear. Glad that you are able to have it fixed. That's the bright spot! Yay for getting so much accomplished. I knew that I could help you out. ;> (ha!) You must have helped me, too, because I can almost see the table top.

  3. Hi Kathy, Sorry your car needed so much work...but you are right....cheaper than car payments. My Teddy just got something looked with his truck and the mechanic tightened somethings that they had not done last time...scary. No charge was sure nice to hear. :) Hope your day goes well. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. It's way cheaper than car payments. It will be fine. And I'm guaranteed it will drive a lot better.

  4. I'm like you are about a clean room! While I tackle another one, I tend to go back to the clean one for encouragement! I'm so happy to say that this morning I have more CLEAN rooms than DIRTY ones! Onward!!

  7. Sorry about your car. We decided to sell our car the other summer because it needed so many repairs which wasn't worth it to us. So now I drive a van, something I didn't think I'd like but I do!
No Christmas here yet. Next week is totally busy so hopefully this weekend it will Appear out of boxes :).
    Take care, happy cleaning!
