MOVING RIGHT ALONG

I had a wonderful day at church.  I lit the advent candles while Carolyn read the scripture.  It was really nice.  We had a guest missionary speaker who was really interesting.

The only problem I had is I recorded the video they showed and didn't know that the music was copyrighted.  So now youtube is not letting me post it.  I am trying to figure out a way to work around it.  I will figure it out, but it may take me awhile.

Yesterday I got a little bit of my energy back.  I do what I can when I can.  So I pulled out the mums and put my little tree in front of the house.

And hung my jingle bell wreath on the front door.

This year I found a wreath hanger at Home Depot that has jingle bells on it.  I got it because I knew it would go perfectly with the wreath.

I took the pumpkins off of the stairway and hung my stockings.  One for me, one for Joe and one for Snowy.

Tomorrow morning bright and early Joe is having a short outpatient procedure done.  I have to have him at the hospital by 7 a.m. which means we have to LEAVE here by 6 a.m.  The sun won't even be up for another hour!  I am NOT looking forward to this.  I am going to bring a book to read but I think I may just go to sleep in the waiting room.  But I just keep thinking that by tomorrow afternoon we will be back to normal.  I hope.

So off to feed the outside cats and get dinner on.  I hope you have a great evening.  See you tomorrow.

Kathy

  4. looks like your temps are close to ours. Well, it's getting close to freezing this week. My stomach was hurting me this afternoon and am not sure what I ate that made me feel this way. Hopefully will be all better tomorrow. If it's not one thing, it's another and just want to feel better and not so tired either. Sigh! :-/ Hope your trip goes well for Joe's procedure tomorrow! Happy night!

    1. I hope your stomach is better by now. Mine has been giving me problems too and I think it is my gall bladder.

  6. It's looking Christmasy! May all go well and may you be able to take a nice nap once you're home. I imagine your hubby may want a rest, too.

    1. You know me too well, Vee. That's exactly what I did -- I took a nap. And so did Joe.

  7. I am kinda late in reading posts this week. I am glad that Joe came through his procedure okay. I like the wreath on your front door. Jingle bells are a favorite of mine.
