MONDAY

Hello, everyone.  Hope you had a good weekend.  I am finally over my three busy weeks but now this week has become very busy also.  I guess it will be this way until after Christmas.

Joe got sick over the weekend so I got an emergency appointment and took him to the doctor this morning.  I was glad she could fit him in.  He is so much better this evening.

We stopped at Sonic on the way home to get breakfast.  Joe ordered a ciabatta with bacon and I ordered a breakfast burrito with sausage.  When we got our order home and started to eat them, I had the bacon and he had the sausage.  Someone messed up.  But we ate them anyway.

Because I haven't slept well in several days, I took a nap this afternoon.  I thought I would sleep a couple of hours, but ended up sleeping about six hours!  I knew I was tired, but I had no idea I was that tired.

The only new thing I have to show you is where I ended up putting the new Santa that I got at Shop Rite the other week.  He is sitting on the table right inside the front door, ready to greet any visitors.

I just noticed that his coat matches the red with white snowflakes pillow on the chair.

I have to go out tomorrow but hopefully I will get more cleaning/decorating done tomorrow.

Kathy

    1. I needed to sleep because in the two days before that I got maybe 8 hours total. I'm glad I am home these days to take care of health issues.

Glad you talked me into getting the Santa. I really love him.

    1. Thank you, Terri! I just love him too. His outfit and the little lantern is what sold me on him.

  4. Kathy, I love the snow scene print. Your new Santa is very nice. Don't love when things come together like the Santa and the pillow. Blessings to you and Joe...please take care. xoxo, Susie

  5. What a CUTE CUTE Santa. I am sorry that Joe was sick over the weekend but I hope he is doing okay by now. You apparently really needed the sleep or you wouldn't have slept that long. Wish I COULD nap...I can only do that if I am really, really ill. xo Diana
