IT'S ALMOST HERE

Look at the beautiful flowers Joe surprised me with the other day.  I love them.

We are leaving for my sister's house tomorrow so everything has to be done today.  I'm on a marathon cookie baking and tomorrow morning I will wrap every gift in the house.  I'm still cleaning and really have gotten so much done but so much more to go.  Here's the coffee table.

I love the new scarf I got from Target.  It's perfect on the table.  The little Santa is a music box that my sister has had for years.  When she was getting rid of it, I took it.  I have a collection of music boxes.  It rotates to show Santa looking into the window of a sleeping child to make sure he is not going to be discovered.  There are two little cardinal figurines.  The battery operated candles are on a white plate I had with poinsettias clipped onto the side.  I got them at Rite Aid.  And the cute jar I got from Target has the end of the GORP in it.  So nice.

Now I just have to get to the rest of the room.  I'll do it though.  I'm determined.

And with that I have to go.  Stay warm.  It's very cold here.

  4. I love the scarf too...,it's just like the two napkins I have which are used to anchor table decorations.
Your decorations are so nice. It feels so good to get things accomplished. I'm knocking things off my list....did grocery shopping this morning. My only fear is what I haven't thought of yet that I might need!!
    Merry Christmas!

  7. Nothing like the smell of baking cookies...ummm. Decorations are lovely. Every time I see cardinals,I think of my Aunt Lolly. She fed birds in her backyard & it was the only place I've seen cardinals...Travel safely!
