THE HEART OF FALL MOVIE: I DO, I DO, I DO (2015)

It's so hard to believe that this year has less than 100 days left.  At this time last year I was counting down the days to retirement and here it is almost a year I've been out of work.  I must say it's been an eventful and good year with lots of traveling which is what I wanted to do.  I've also gotten a lot of my health back and have been under so much less stress.  All good things, but where has the time gone?  The months just fly by!

I started to write a bunch of thoughts on here and after a L-O-N-G post realized that I was just rambling and deleted it all.  Oh my, it was just a brain dump and I know no one would want to read it.  But I guess it's good to get things out now and then.

This afternoon I am going to meet Carolyn at church and we are going to decorate for the Harvest Day on Sunday.  I will take pictures to show you.  I think the tables are going to look great!  I have my friend Carol coming.  She likes our church, our events, and is looking forward to meeting our new pastor and his wife.  So on Sunday we will have Carol, Carole, Carolann and Carolyn.  Oh my!

I have to tell you about the Heart of Fall movie I saw the other day.  It was called "I Do, I Do, I Do" and was so cute.  It was like the movie "Groundhog Day" which I love.  The synopsis from the Hallmark Channel says:  An architect heads to the altar with her fiancé, unsure of her marriage and their future.  She relives her disastrous wedding day, put together by her fiance’s overbearing mother, over and over until, with the help of her fiancé’s brother, she begins to face her biggest fears and discover what she really wants in herself and in her life.  It was so cute and I really enjoyed it.

It's been almost an hour since I took my medicine, so I can eat now.  I dislike having to wait an hour every morning to eat, especially when I am really hungry but feeling better is worth it.  I hope you all have a great day.  Pictures tomorrow, I promise.

    1. My years have been flying for about six or seven years. I think as I get older I do things slower and so I get less done and the time seems to go faster. Peanuts are always for you my dear

  3. That sounds like a good movie. I always loved Groundhog Day, too. Bill Murray was at his best in that show. Laughing about the FOUR C's going to be in church on Sunday.

Time really does seem to fly by, doesn't it? Especially as I get older I realize that I have less life ahead of me than I have behind me....weird thought.

Blessings to you- I am so glad you are feeling better this year. I know the last year of work was a rough one for you. xo Diana

  4. If you liked Groundhog Day, you would like this movie too. I've been into the 9/11 shows lately and it's nice to laugh again instead of crying.

Yes, it's going to be fun on Sunday. "Oh Carol!" "Yes" "Yes" "Yes" "Yes". Ha, ha!

I've been thinking the same thing, that most of my life is past. And it went so quickly! It is a strange thought.

I am feeling better this year. I really should have quit two years before I did but you know how it is to get pension and Social Security so that you can live.

  5. It's so different now that the rain has come and I felt it dark, a bit when driving home from seeing my brother today. It's that time of year! I thought of you when I picked up a garden flag that has Snoopy and Woodstock on it at Hobby Lobby! I did buy it...so cute. I don't have alot of fall items around the house. Between you and another blogger friend's posts, it got into my skin! TEE HEE! Yes time seems to fly by with me working 4 days a week and days off I'm usually going somewhere, at least one most of the day! Oh well! Happy weekend and have fun decorating with all the Carols!!! God bless!

  6. I agree time flies. It seems to me that autumn lends itself to pondering about the past, future &
perhaps making changes going forward. I see where I've been & realize things I still want to do.
Like the mums & pumpkin at the end!

  7. Oh Kathy I just love your little blog, so inspiring!!! I too have to wait atleast an hour before my thyroid medicine (had total thyroidectomy in October 2013) but feel better if I wait 2 hours instead. I wake up, take my medicine and go back to bed for awhile. Blessings to you.......:)
