GETTING BACK TO NORMAL AND A PICTURE FROM THE PAST

What is normal?  I was in a good schedule before I went on vacation and things were getting done.  Now, not so much.  But determination plays a big part with me and today I think I can get going on projects.

I'm still working on the living room which I think will never be clean again.  But with a little chipped off here and there I am making progress.

Bible Study was good yesterday.  Going through Philippians is so good for ME.  I get a lot out of it and I hope the others in the class do also.

Debbie and I went shopping after Bible Study yesterday.  I got some more of the Chobani Flips yogurt that I like.  But, alas, my Almond Coco Loco flavor was not there.  It is the best one and goes fast.  I am going to have to go to Target and see if I can find it there.  I did get a new mango passion-fruit one that I'm going to see if I like.  And I got Peanut Butter, Salted Caramel and Chocolate Hazelnut.  I ate one of the peanut butter ones last night.  Yum.

The good thing about going shopping on Tuesday is that it's Senior Citizen's Day.  And even though I don't consider myself a senior citizen, if they want to give me money back, I'm going to take it.  It makes the Social Security money go further.  So I have begun to go shopping after Bible Study each week.

I was waiting to get to a plateau before I said it, but I've lost 5 pounds in 4 weeks.  Way to go!  I have been so careful with what I eat and I have been drinking lots of water.  I am so pleased!  And I even went on vacation during that time.

Guess it's time to get off of here and go back to finish up what I was doing.  But before I go I want to post another PICTURE FROM THE PAST.

This is my sister's cute little doggie Cody three years ago.  The door is just the right height for him to look out and see what is going on in his neighborhood.

And with that I have to get off of here.  See you all soon!

  1. You look good with that pop of pink, Kathy! Congrats on the five pounds. I know how hard it is to lose-and every year we age it gets harder, I think. Glad you have a bible study you like and can shop afterwards.

I am just trying to catch up on a few blogs this morning while waiting for an appt. xo Diana

    1. Thanks, Diana. It is hard to lose, but I have to for my health. I actually teach my Bible study so I learn more than the others.

  2. I had to chuckle.....I don't think I will see the surface of my dining room table ever again!! I do live with 3 Grands, 2 which love to color, do crafts, play with Legos, Ninja's.....it's all on the table!
I just joined your site so your posts will come up in my blog list. Have been meaning to do that forever, sigh. I'm slow!
    Have a great day!

    1. Discounts are good. Senior Citizen Tuesday starts at age 60 so I'm well into that age limit. I'll take it!

  5. Count me in! I appreciate any discount. The pennies do add up. kudos on the 5 lbs! You really do make Bible study interesting. You have questions that make us think about what we've read & apply what we learn. I thank you for your patience in helping us 'get it'!
    Stay cool!

    1. Thanks Debbie. I try to make it interesting although when we get off on tangents I sometimes wonder.

  6. Your living room may never be cleaned up again, but you do things that are more important like teaching Bible studies, shopping for bargains, and losing weight! If I could do any one of them, I would be happy.
