I'M STILL HERE...

...and leading a very boring life.  I have done absolutely nothing this past week and have nothing coming up this week.  So I have had nothing to post about.

We had a great service at church today.  Pastor Sean was back.  We were glad to see him.  I really like him and wish he were going to be our new pastor.  But he and his wife are candidating to be missionaries.  He brought his wife, Sunny, with him today.  She is so sweet and we liked her too.

The heater wasn't working at church and it was COLD.  By the time the service was over it was just starting to get warm.  So by the time I got home I was frozen.  My hands, feet and even my nose was cold.  I turned on the fireplace heater, laid on the sofa and pulled the cover over me.  The next thing I knew it was 4 hours later.  I guess I really needed the sleep.

I made pork roast, mashed sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts for dinner.  It was so good.  And I have enough left over for another meal.

Hopefully I will get some things done this week.  I'm going to try to be more productive.

Have a good night everyone.  Don't forget to bake those Valentine cookies.

  1. The cookies are so pretty! Dinner sounds delicious.I like having leftovers. I don't usually reheat the same things. rather I create something new. like leftover ham diced into mac & cheese or even into chili. Same with any sausage.Makes for some interesting new meals! Glad you got some needed rest. Sometimes in the winter,I think I'm part bear & want to eat & hibernate! Ha ha! Stay warm with the predicted snow coming!
    Woof!

  2. Keep going Kathy! Retirement is a huge change. Don't get disappointed or bewildered about what or what you don't do. Just remember God has a plan!
