DECORATING THE TREE AND GREEBY STREET

Be prepared for photo overload.  I have lots to show you.

Today the kids at work decorated the tree.  It has been up for several weeks with just white lights on.  It was lovely.  Now it's beautiful!

Boss putting the first of the ornaments on.

Doug, Meghan (our new Children's Librarian), Matt (one of our guards) and me.

I'll try to get better pictures later before I leave.  Some of the ornaments are gorgeous.

After work tonight I headed over to Greeby Street.  If you remember from last year, this block really decorates.  Here's the link to see it:  Greeby Street

This didn't turn out so well, but I wanted to show it to you because it was so cute.  The Peanuts characters are in a nativity and the sign above the manger says "The Christmas Play".

I hope to go back again before they take things down and get even better pictures.  If not, there's always next year.

  2. Kathy, The tree looks nice, I bet all the kids enjoyed being the ones to decorate it. I loved the big bank of windows in your library. I know you will miss your co-workers and friends. That neighborhood is all lit up and that is pretty. Blessings for a good weekend ...so relaxing hopefully. xoxo,Susie

  4. I enjoy all the Christmas decor out and about and in stores, and parks. We were by a park last evening as we were driving home from our paint nite...so pretty. The gazebo was even lit. Have a very Merry Christmas...to you and Joe. Hugs and blessings, my friend!
