IT'S BEEN A BUSY SATURDAY!

I am very tired.  It's because I did so much today.  It began by picking up Debbie and Joe, Deb and I going to Target, Home Depot and Shop Rite.  I had so much running to do to get ready for the church service tonight and for our Harvest Day that we are having at church tomorrow.  I'm glad I finally have everything bought and transported to church.

I told Debbie I would drive her and her little dog daughter Bridget to Petco after we got back.   As we were waiting for her to come out of her house we saw one of her neighbors who has a couple of antique cars.  I'm so glad I had my camera to get a shot of it.  It looks like I've been transported back to 1920.

After we dropped Debbie off, we headed for PJP to finish up our shopping.  I was REALLY tired by this time and all I wanted to do was take a nap.

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to lay down.  I had to get to church to decorate for tomorrow.  My friend, Alice, was there too and together we got the whole thing done in one hour.  Much faster than I had expected it to be.  And I think it looks really cute.

All the tables now have yellow tablecloths.  I put autumn leaves in the center for decoration.  Some have red candleholders.

Some have white candle holders.  They are all shaped like leaves.

We put autumn leaves all over the bulletin board.  Alice is taller than me so she was able to reach the top part.  Shorty me did the bottom.

We have the larger table set up for the food.  Plates, napkins and plasticware is already set out on the red tablecloth.

The smaller table is for the beverages -- soda, iced tea and lemonade.  I got an orange tablecloth for this table.  Alice brought the cute little sunflower decoration.

So we are all set for tomorrow.
When I got home from decorating I did take a nap.  I meant to sleep for 1/2 hour but ended up sleeping for 1 1/2 hours.  But I still got up in time to get to church for service tonight.

The more Joe and I do the evening service, the easier it is.  I now know exactly how to set up the mics, where to put the camera, etc.  I thought his message tonight was excellent and very challenging.  I have already posted it to my youtube channel.  Here is the link to it.

I hope you will check it out.

So now the caramel apple candle is lit.  Ummmm.....

Snowy is getting herself ready for her bedtime....

And so am I.  It's a big day tomorrow.  Good night everyone!

  2. You & Alice did all that decorating in an hour? WOW! It looks really pretty. The centerpieces are truly seasonal & Alice's sunflower added such a bright touch! Will listen to Joe's sermon tomorrow as I have to get to the pet shelter to get ready for our Petsmart adoption event.
    Have fun at Harvest!
