JULY PHOTO CHALLENGE #7 -- WORDS

It was so hot at work today.  The air still isn't fixed although they are working on it.  I just wanted to peel off my skin and sit in my bones as Abraham Lincoln once said.  It was actually cooler in my car than in the library and that's saying something.

Only Margie showed up for Bible study yesterday.  Because she had missed so many weeks, we went back and went through Daniel chapter 8 instead of going on to chapter 11.  I will try to get through all of chapter 11 next week.  But chapter 8 is the background for chapter 11 so I wanted to go over that with her so she would understand what was going on.

We had left over orange cupcakes and there are still a few more to serve at church tonight.  They are so good.  I'm thinking of making them with root beer next time.  I think root beer cupcakes with vanilla icing sounds like a root beer float and would taste delicious!

I got a call tonight from Carole that she and Walt want my car again tomorrow to try to fix the air conditioning.  Again.  I'm going to pray that this works because it is so hot and I have no relief from the heat at work at all!

I'm at work now so I have to run.  But here is my photo challenge for the 7th.  The word is "words".  I work in a library.  What else would I photo?  There's lots of words here!

I'm linking up with Kati at Kati's Little Corner of the World for this photo challenge.

  3. Great photo and right on!!!!

You working in a library... reminds me of me when I worked in a local Christian Bookstore. IN the winter - I would get such a dry and stuffy nose. It was because all the books absorbed the moisture in the air. Oh...I can still feel that feeling and thinking about it. I miss those books and that season in my life. (working there! not the dry, stuffy nose!) :)

    1. You make me smile, Bevy. It's a great job and I love books, but they do dry things out. My hands get really dry in the winter because of handling all the paper.
