JULY PHOTO CHALLENGE #6 -- WHITE

It was such a boring day at work yesterday.  The only excitement was when the part-timer came in with a chip on her shoulder and yelled at me.  She's always angry when she comes in and tells us how much she hates the job.  Well leave then.  I'm glad she's only there for another two months.  She's a really nice girl when she's not upset about something.  And everything upsets her.

Other than that, I was driving around with an almost empty tank of gas so I had to go get some at lunch.  Then I needed to run to Rite Aid.  I figured since I was so close to home I might as well go home and use my own bathroom and see Joe.  So I did.  I didn't have time to eat, but I got away from the library.

Still no air conditioning at work.  The mechanics have been out twice so far and were called to come out again today.  It runs for one day and then that's it.  It's quite warm at work and roasting hot in my car.  Hope that can get fixed too but it doesn't look promising.  If it were paid off, I would think about getting another one.

Sometimes trying to look busy is more tiring than actually being busy.  And that's the way I found it yesterday.  So I opted for hot dogs for dinner with some tomatoes and cucumbers.  We had watermelon for dessert.  It was so sweet!  I love watermelon.  Well, I like most melons.

It took me 5 hours of studying to prepare for my Bible Study today.  I hope after all that that some ladies show up.  We are on the beginning of Daniel chapter 11.  Two more weeks and we will finally be finished.  We've been studying this since the beginning of March.  It doesn't seem like five months.  It's been a wonderful study but I'm ready to move on to something else.

I have to get myself ready to leave so I will show you my photo challenge.  The topic is "white".  What's whiter in my house than my little Snowy?  Nothing!

I'm linking up with Kati at Kati's Little Corner of the World for this photo challenge.

Have a great day everyone!

Kathy

  1. When someone is mad all the time and you have to be around them, that alone makes for a bad day. Sorry you had to endure that yesterday. Snowy is just beautiful, no doubt about it! Hope you have a better day today. You are so faithful to study and teach....God rewards for things like that.

    1. I think it's just as easy to put a smile on your face and say a cheery good morning as it is to be angry about having to come to work. I agree, Snowy is beautiful.

  2. Well, that is miserable to not have a cool place to work and an even warmer car to climb into. Love your Snowy---she looks like a snowball which MIGHT make you feel a little cooler. xo Diana

  3. Kathy, I am praying you get to retire and enjoy some fun things in life....why should you suffer, because a co-worker wants to be queen of the crabs. LOL. Your Snowball is a pretty white. I love your lily on the side bar. Blessings to you, xoxo,Susie

    1. If we had a shower at work, maybe I would be stepping in and out of it. It's cooler downstairs and that is where we all escape to.
