JULY PHOTO CHALLENGE #5 -- GRASS

Happy Sunday, everyone!  I hope you all had a great day.  I got up in time this morning to bake orange-cicle cupcakes for church.  I used the recipe I put on my cooking blog for Two Ingredient Soda Pop Cupcakes.  You can find the recipe hereI used white cake mix and orange soda.  They turned out so good!

Miss A is very patriotic in her red, white and blue outfit.  So cute.

I took over three of the bottles of bubbles my friend Marion gave me the other day and gave them to the three little girls at church.  They were so happy.  It doesn't take much to please a kid.

This afternoon I got a chance to make some phone calls to friends I haven't talked to in ages.  I even had time to take a nap.

Otherwise it was a pretty lazy day.  Not much happening.  But it's back to work tomorrow.

Since it's so late I think I will just show you the photo challenge photo for today.  I didn't know what I wanted to do for "grass" but decided to just show you my yard.  It has grass all right.  It needs cutting badly.

And one more picture.  The sunset was lovely tonight.

I'm linking up with Kati at Kati's Little Corner of the World for this July photo challenge.

  2. Love the sunset! So beautiful....Miss A is so adorable. Her outfit is the cutest ever. Bet the cake was so delicious...especially light in this hotter weather.
Wouldn't it be great if we were as happy & easy to please as children?
    Have a marvelous Monday!
