JULY PHOTO CHALLENGE #18 -- ANIMAL/INSECT

I napped a lot again Saturday, but I did get things done.  Wash has been piling up and I did another load.  I just have to keep plugging away with it.  I got the recycling out and did another load of dishes.  I'm almost caught up with that.  I went to Rite Aid and got some things for dinner this week.  But...  I wanted to get to the farm and didn't.  I sat down for a minute and the next thing I knew it was three hours later and the farmstand was about to close.  Oh well.

Joe fell out of bed yesterday but other than that he is doing better.  He's not there yet, but every day he's doing a little better than the day before.  His knees are technicolor and are beginning to scab over where there is no skin.  He is walking better too and his hands aren't shaking as much.

Today we have a business meeting at church and I am sort of nervous about it.  Business meetings can go very good or very bad.
It will be interesting to see how it turns out.

I guess I had better go to bed.  But first the photo challenge for Saturday.  Someday I'll catch up.  The prompt is "animal/insect"  I was looking through my photos and found this picture I took out in Lancaster of a gorgeous horse.  Horses are one of my favorite animals.

I'm linking up with Kati at Kati's Little Corner of the World for this photo challenge.  Hopefully I'll be back later.

  1. Horses are lovely animals. We saw a truck pulling a horse trailer and there were 3 beautiful horses in it. The windows were open, since it's quite warm again today. Glad you are catching up on house work, which never seems to be done here either! I came home after Megan and I had gone out to another lavender farm, sat down and watched a Librarian movie with Phil. It was good. I didn't get the beans snapped and blanched but I cooked dinner and did laundry! Have a good weekend and hopefully the church meeting was good. I don't like the other kind either. Hugs!

  2. When it comes to housework,I realize it will always be there. I'm trying to train myself to be happy in the things I do get done. Every little bit helps.Like the horse. They are so majestic! Glad to hear Joe's doing a bit better.Hopefully the meeting went well.

  3. Kathy, Love your horse photo. Pretty farm area too. Poor Joe...could he wear knee pads and elbow pads...would that help some ? Girl, use paper plates whenever possible. A busy person like you needs to cut corners on chores. Spray the cats with endust...that is a joke, please...besides it doesn't work...another joke. LOL. Thought you could use a laugh. Blessings to you and Joe, xoxo,Susie

  4. It is so hard when you have to do it ALL. I know, because it is that way for me too. You never really get caught up, but we have to just keep plugging along. Your picture is so pretty. If you need to nap, nap. I agree with someone above, use paper plates....we do a lot of the time, and it sure cuts down on the dishwashing. God bless you this afternoon,
