JULY PHOTO CHALLENGE #15 --SIGN

Finally some good news about my car.  Walt and Carole took it to a friend of theirs who does the inspections for their used car lot.  He found the problem with the air conditioner.  It's a valve.  Carole ordered it and it should come in this morning.  Then it's just a matter of installing it and it should be done.  It will be more money, but still not as much as it would have been if I had gone to the first guy.

Joe is still not doing so well.  He's fallen 6 times now.  He fell while I was at work yesterday but without my car I wasn't able to get home to him.  *sigh*  This poor guy has bruises all over himself.  I'm glad he's seeing a doctor on Monday.

I talked to my friend Genny from church yesterday at lunch time.  Didn't get to eat, but did get some good fellowship time.  We are in so much agreement on so many things and I don't feel so alone anymore.  That's a good thing!

There was an announcement on facebook this morning.  Little Miss A is going to be a big sister!

Wonderful news!

I'm running late and have to get dressed for work so really quickly I will post the photo challenge.  The word is "sign" .  Here's the sign I made for the humor section of the library.

I change it each Monday so it really should be "Joke of the Week."

Gotta run.

Kathy

  1. Miss A. will be a sweet brother or sister. So glad to hear the car is going to be back 'to normal' as of tomorrow. I hate to hear about your husband falling. The same happens here, and that is why I am so afraid to go anywhere. He cannot get up on his own. Can your husband get up? We are thankful, no broken bones as yet. Hope work is easy on you today.

    1. Yes, Joe usually can get himself up. But this is why I feel I need to retire early. He has broken bones. He fell down the stairs and broke his shoulder blade (the hardest bone in the body to break). Work is unusually busy!

But I am doing the "happy dance" about your car. At least you'll have it for the rest of the summer and not fall .... lol

  6. Glad that there is a doctor visit in the near future. You must be worried about all the falling. Saying a prayer. I wish I could remember that sign the next time I need a joke for the grands.
