OCTOBER PHOTO CHALLENGE #8 -- ANGLE

First of all, thank you everyone for your prayers and good wishes for my health.  I am getting a little better each day.  Yesterday seemed to be the turning point for me.  I am still coughing a lot and blowing gunk out of my nose, but every day it is less and less.  I finished off my anti-biotics today.  I have a follow up with my doctor on Friday at noon so we will see how that goes.

Work has been going OK.  At least there are no problem people around this week.  So far, that is.

The topic for today's photo challenge is "angle".  I wasn't quite sure what to do with this.  The word "angle" can be taken so many ways.  Everywhere I looked today I saw angles.  Angles are all over the place, I just couldn't find any that I thought made a good composition.  I looked through my photos again trying to decide what to do.  I finally realized I wanted to show a group of photos rather than just one.

This summer my sister, her best friend and I went to Sight and Sound Theater in Lancaster County to see the show "Moses".  For every different show they have there, they put a statue in the lobby of the main character.  For example when they had "Jonah" there was a statue of Jonah.  At Christmas, there is a statue of the Nativity.  So, of course, there was a statue of Moses for this program.  I took several photos of it from different sides and different angles.

 Look at all the angles!

Linking up with Kaitlin at Homemaker Design for this October photo challenge.

  1. Wow! Didn't realize until these photos how much angle has to do with perspective. In the first,I saw Moses (the man); second I saw more focus on his staff, especially with the sky overhead. Third, his facial
expression, what he felt, was going through at the time. Never gave it much thought before.....Thank you for a lesson in perspective!

  3. I agree with Debbie's comment there, your photos and all the different angles really allow us to see the statue in different ways! Emphasizing each aspect! Nice job!!

So happy to hear you are feeling better!!

I also love the pictures of all the different angles! I wish I was a pro at my camera still, so much to learn so many buttons.
Glad to hear you are feeling better Kathy. Need to take care of yourself and treat yourself to a nice day at the spa with some girlfriends. Go and splurge! I am doing it tonight.
