I have been waiting to do this post.  Anyone who knows me knows how much I LOVE taking pictures of clouds.

I take sunrises:

I take sunsets:

I take pictures of clouds down the shore:

I take pictures of clouds in the country:

I love clouds!

But one afternoon I left work at the end of the day.  It looked as if it was going to rain.  I looked at the sky as I was getting into the car and was struck by the beauty of the clouds.  I immediately grabbed my camera and took this shot.  It has turned out to be one of my favorite pictures I have ever taken of clouds.  I hope you enjoy looking at it.

Linking up with Kaitlin at Homemaker Design for this October photo challenge.   Thanks, Kaitlin, for asking for clouds!

  1. Nice photos. That last sky is almost scary. Amazing how the skyscape changes not only day to day, but hour to hour, even minute to minute!

  2. You're right, we are cloud loving sisters!!!! What pretty pictures Kathy!! That last one is great!...aaah, they all are!! I pray your are feeling better!!

  3. I see a face in those stormy clouds, but it is smiling!

  4. Beautiful Kathy! Looks a lot like the clouds we saw tonight on our drive home!

  5. I can see why the one is your favorite. It's pattern is really interesting. I like looking at storm clouds.
One day when it was due to rain, I saw the smallest bit of blue sky peeking from behind the dark clouds.
I couldn't help staring & thinking of God's promise that 'This too shall pass'. God is a part of everything.

  6. Kathy, you sound like me...If I am walking around the yard or on the porch and see the sun rise ,set, or a great cloud photo...I run to the camera. I feel I must get a picture...although some photos never can show the real things as we saw it. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  7. I love them all... particularly the ones over the ocean waters... wow!!

I'm always intrigued by the sky and clouds...as well. I'm going to join you in saying I'm a sister loving clouds sort of friend.

Thanks for visiting. I love hearing from you. I often reply to your comments, so feel free to check back.
