FRIDAY VIEWS

I want to thank you for all your good wishes.  After a good night's sleep I felt really good today.  I was still glad I had the day off, though.  I got some more cleaning done and put out some more of my Easter things.  Amazing what you find when you clean up!  I'll be posting pictures of them tomorrow.

I am getting more organized by having boxes for each holiday and/or season and labeling everything.  Hopefully next year will be easier for me.  At least that is what I am aiming for.  We get tons of boxes at work each day so it is costing me nothing to do this except for some time.

It was a beautiful day today.  Spring is finally here!  Something that I didn't think was possible a few weeks ago.  For the first time this year I was able to go out without a coat or even a jacket on and not be cold.  It was lovely!

Please be praying for my sweet daughter-in-law Christi.  Yesterday was her birthday.  Her parents gave her 41 roses and her daughter gave her 41 daisies.  Want to guess how hold she is?  She was going to the doctor today.  As I mentioned before she is battling cancer so any prayers for her would be greatly appreciated.

My daughter-in-law, Christi and granddaughter, Tori.
For my Friday View today I want to show you my newest purchase from Rite Aid's 50% off shelf.  I liked the cardinals I bought so much that when I saw these little chickadees I had to get them too.

Aren't they cute?  For $2 who could pass them up.  They are in the living room on the little heater stove right now, but they and the cardinals are going to end up in the garden soon.

Lots more to do before bed, so I am going to end.  Have a good night everyone.

  1. aw, I love the last little saying with the bird under a blanket. Cute! Love your birds. I had a nice time out at the tulip farm photographing, late evening. Lots of people out there with cameras and doing photo shoots of people. Will be out there again on Monday later, with my daughter. She wants a few photos of her for her college graduation announcements. I'm making them, probably from Shutterfly. Or at least print the photos out...not sure how we are gonna do it. I did some organizing today and am going to take some stuff to be shredded tomorrow a.m. Put away a bunch of light bulbs I bought last year or so, before they all go away. Prices for regular light bulbs have really gotten expensive. So have some to use for awhile. We do use cfl but still use reg on some lights. Have a great weekend! Hugs!
