AN EVEN BUSIER DAY

I didn't think it was possible, but today was even busier than yesterday.  For starters, I overslept.  I really hustled to get ready for Bible study.  Joe, however, was staying in bed.  It turns out that he is sick.  Really, really sick.  It was too late to cancel, so I ended up teaching the study.  I love to teach, so this was no hardship for me.  We had a really good lesson on creation vs. evolution.  Great discussion.  For Easter we had bought each of them plastic Easter eggs with candy inside.  Everyone liked them.

Then I rushed home and got ready for work.  I knew it would be a tough day because Diane was out for a vacation day and it would be just Bob and me until Marquita came in at 3:00 p.m.  However, it was incredibly busy.  We figured out it's because the kids have off from school this week for Spring break.  But we got an email that Lehigh Branch was still closed with no heat and we were going to get Barbara again today.  Thank goodness!  She was such a great help.  I was able to put her on the front desk for two hours and she did an incredible amount of shelving.

When I got home from work at 8:30 p.m. Joe was still in bed.  He is still really sick.  The earliest doctor's appointment he was able to get was Monday afternoon.  I can't believe they are making him wait a week.  I don't think he told them just how sick he is.  He didn't even eat dinner.  I made myself a bowl of linguine and spinach.  It was really good.

Since it is now after 1:00 a.m. and I have to go to work in a few hours I have to get some sleep.  See you later, folks.

  2. How do you do it?
I need at least 7 hours of sleep, 8 would be perfect.
Now you don't go and get sick!
